N um bers used to indicate balancer shaft journal
sizes are stam ped on the R H balancer web
corner, starting w ith the left journal.
Left balancer shaft journal size num ber
Right balancer shaft journal size num ber
low er crankcase half is num bered J5, and
J6 as show n.
Exam ple: Selection of the balancer shaft bearngs;
If the crankcase J5 and left balancer shaft
sizes are N o. 4 and N o. 1, respectively, the
left balancer bearing size N o. is:
