Bivšim ovisnicima potrebna je emocionalna, pravna, zdravstvena i
socijalna zaštita. Etičke se dileme odnose na stigmatizaciju, prvenstveno
iz tog razloga što ne postoje terapijske zajednice (komune) za liječenje
osoba ženskog spola; zatim, diskriminacija bivših ovisnika pri ostvarivanju
prava na zaposlenje, školovanje, te povratak obitelji i široj društvenoj
zajednici.
U radu će biti prikazana etička načela u radu sa ovisnicima o psihoaktivnim
supstancama, suvremeni programi resocijalizacije bivših ovisnika i
etičke dileme koje se javljaju nakon liječenja u Javnoj ustanovi Terapijska
zajednica »Kampus« Kantona Sarajevo.
ETHICAL DILEMMAS IN THE THERAPEUTIC
COMMUNITIES FOR TREATMENT/RESOCIALIZATION
OF FORMER ADDICTS
Social and political developments in Bosnia and Herzegovina over
the past fifteen years have led to a series of circumstances that resulted in
mental health disorders in young people. Particularly interesting are the
behavioral disorders in young adults, due to misuse of addictive substances,
especially psychotropic ones. Bearing in mind the need for treatment of
addicts, centers for the treatment at the hospital departments, institutes
and clinical centers have been opened. Medical treatment of drug addiction
does not end in the centers for drug addicts or neuropsychiatric hospital
wards; instead the ex-addicts are being sent to continue the treatment
in therapeutic communities in which they are educated, rehabilitated and
resocialized. Treatment of addicted persons is a complex and systematic
process. Therapeutic community, as a form of institutional accommodation,
rehabilitation and treatment of addicted persons is increasingly being
realized. Concepts of these institutions should include constructive and affirming
program which aims to achieve a positive impact on the client in
treatment and its active participation in order to change the lifestyle of an
addict. Some therapeutic communities have different methods of resocialization
of former addicts, from the application of religious ceremonies as
a therapy, to communities that are based on a model of family functioning
together with initiating creative abilities and improving mental health of
the client.
