analysis of the spectacle as a creator of false consciousness on the
human life. Thirdly, Lidija Gajski gives us a brilliant analysis of the contemporary
health care system that shows us the role of profit in health care.
The problems of the spectacle therefore attain a central position for the
following interpretation.

BIOETIKA I FISP
Međunarodna federacija filozofskih društava (FISP) krovna je svjetska
filozofska asocijacija, a Hrvatsko filozofsko društvo je njezin član od
2006. godine. 2007. godine FISP je, na poziv Hrvatskog filozofskog društva,
održao godišnji sastanak svojega upravnog odbora u Malom Lošinju,
tijekom 6. Lošinjskih dana bioetike, i tom je prilikom više članova vodstva
FISP-a, na čelu s njegovim predsjednikom, nastupilo s referatima u kojima
su problematizirali bioetičke teme. Jedan od osam stručnih odbora FISP-a
bavi se bioetičkim pitanjima. Jedna od glavnih zadaća »Odbora za bioetiku
i etiku znanosti« je promovirati bioetiku kao područje filozofskog promišljanja
među nacionalnim filozofskim društvima diljem svijeta.
BIOETHICS AND FISP
The International Federation of Philosophical Societies (FISP) is the
world’s top philosophical association, and Croatian Philosophical Society
(CPS) has been its member since 2006. In the year 2007, at the invitation of
CPS, FISP held the annual meeting of the steering committee in the town of
Mali Lošinj, during the 6th Lošinj Days of Bioethics, and on this occasion
several members of the committee, led by its president, participated with papers
on the subject of bioethics. One of the eight FISP committees deals with
bioethical issues. On of the main tasks of the “Committee on Bioethics and
the Ethics of the Sciences” is to promote bioethics as a field of philosophical
reflection among national philosophical societies around the world.
