The maximum flow
is approximately 15
gallons of mix an hour. The tank can be
cleaned easily in position. If desired, a side
cabinet can be added for storage.

In New Candy Bar

The Big Pay candy bar, which has recently
been added to the Hollywood Candy
Co.'s line of confections, is available to the
theatreman in both the 120-count vend
pack and the usual 24-count display box.
The new bar is a combination of coconut
nougat, toasted almonds, caramel and
chocolate. According to the Hollywood
officials the bar has received very favorable
reception.
New Paint Provides P-597
Fire Protection
A protective fire-retardant paint which
has been used with outstanding success for
several years in Canada, has recently become
available through the Ocean Chemicals
Corp., American franchise holders.
The paint, which may be used on any
paintable surface, protects from fire by
swelling into a thick, resisting crust to seal
oxygen from the wall or ceiling which has
been painted. Without air. of course, it
is Impossible for the heat of flame to support
combustion. Woods will char or
smolder, but will not burn when treated
with the new product.

rinsing is offered by

A pan, a brush and a
sponge are the only
tools actually required
to apply the
cleaner which wiU
not burn or explode.
Cleaner from the
original container is poured onto a sponge
which is squeezed until all the liquid is
foam. Since the cleaner does not penetrate
the fabric, it dries quickly and requires
no rinsing. Magicleaner can also
be used in several types of upholstery and
rug cleaning machines.
New Lighting System P-599
Allows Shallow Mounting
A new, compact, extra-shallow fluorescent
lighting system for slimline and 40-
watt bipin lamps, called "Strip-Line," and
available in seven different types, is announced
by Benjamin Electric Mfg. Co.
Its unusually shallow channel-depth of
slightly less than one inch makes it possible
to use this system in extremely
limited space, such as is often the case
with cornice lighting, illumination of glass
blocks, charts, murals and shadow boxes
and show window lighting.
The new system includes high -power
factor junction-box type ballasts, which are
mounted remotely from the channel so
that the strips may be attached flush with
the ceiling; special terminal block, which
eliminates wiring, soldering, wire nuts and
wire splicing in installation and exclusive
"Inter-Lok" construction by which channels
may be locked together without couplings
in any one of three different ways.
Candy Display Rack for
Theotre Counters

For the refreshment service counters of
theatre lobby stands where space is often
at a premium the Chase Candy Co. has
prepared a wire serve-yourself display rack
to hold six rows of cellophane packed candies.
This makes it possible for the theatre
patron to chose from an ample selection
of bulk candy.
Screen Beading Featured in
New Theatre Paint Line

A three-step process for converting a
regular theatre screen into a beaded screen
is featured in a complete new line of exterior
and interior theatre paints offered
by Drive-In Theatre Mfg. Co.
The unique screen treatment process
consists of a screen coating, screen bead
adhesive and blow gun-type of tool for
spraying glass beads onto the surface.
Also included in the line is building
paint, brick and masonry paint, aluminum
paint, border masking for screens, varnishes,
chrome finishes and materials for
use with them.
