Harold Kenoyer, MGM projectionist, was
here to handle the special screening of
"The
MGM Story" . Mowbry and Adrian
Booth, film stars, flew in to appear at the
Save-a-Life league event held Sunday night
(12) at the Baker hotel . . . Eva Fuller,
formerly with Tower Pictures, is now on the
20th-Fox staff . . . Interstate Theatres is
switching from Thursday opening days to
Saturdays, starting December 9 and running
through the first part of January.
This is one of the first such changes tried
here in recent years.
R. J. O'Donnell, vice-president and general
manager of Interstate Theatres, met Robert
Rossen, producer-director of "The Brave
Bulls" on a trip to New York, Plans are
going ahead for a joint world premiere of
the film in El Paso and Juarez.
Johnnie Blocker has sold his two drive-in
theatres, the Falls and Scottie drive-ins in
Wichita Falls to BuUington, Lee and Mc-
Mahan also of Wichita Falls . . Art Leazenby

manager at Paramount. He came here from
New York. Art has been with ELC and
before going with them he owned and operated
a theatre in Detroit.
H. H. "Hardie" Cluck of Belton, longtime
Texas showman, died recently . . . Olin Dalton.
producer of 16mm business films, was in
San Antonio shooting scenes for a Rio Grande
Valley picture which is being backed by several
San Antonio firms.
