This paper addresses the issue of mediat<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>timacy <strong>in</strong> order to support city<br />
communities. What is <strong>in</strong>timacy and how can it be mediated through the <strong>in</strong>troduction<br />
of new technology <strong>in</strong> a community? It illustrates the discussion by describ<strong>in</strong>g<br />
