321-LINEAR ALGEBRA. Prerequisite: Mathematics 252. Covers systems of linear
equations, matrix algebra, determinants, vector geometry and vector spaces,
Eigen values and Eigen vectors.
Three hours per week. Credit, three semester hours. Offered as needed.
Music Minor
The minor in music is designed for students who are vitally interested in music
and wish to supplement their major field of study with solid education in a
performing art. The study of music can be a valuable complement to a wide range
of disciplines and enhance a student’s preparation for a variety of fields such as
theatre, education, tourism, and religion. Designed to yield a balanced music
foundation, the minor includes the study of the structure of music, aural training,
music history and literature plus individual applied and ensemble studies. For
those students who consider involvement in music an essential component of
their educational experience, the minor in Music provides formal recognition and
structure to their musical studies. A minor in Music involves a total of 21 credit
hours.
