Management<br />

<strong>The</strong> GP will demonstrate the ability to:<br />

• evaluate the wise use of resources in their own practice,<br />

including ordering relevant and useful investigations<br />

• contribute to develop safe handling and movement<br />

practices in workplaces, including their own<br />

• maintain current knowledge of ACC protocols and those<br />

of other workplace injury programmes<br />

• identify and manage issues associated with acute<br />

medical care and elective procedures, such as joint<br />

replacement surgery.<br />
