<strong>The</strong> GP will demonstrate the ability to:<br />

• educate their practice team and community about<br />

neurological disease<br />

• develop policies in their practice that ensure patients with<br />

neurological diseases are getting the very best health care<br />

• ensure there is a safe practice environment <strong>for</strong> patients<br />

who have neurological conditions, such as <strong>for</strong> those<br />

in wheelchairs<br />

• develop relationships with local services involved in<br />

acute treatment and transfer of patients with neurological<br />

conditions.<br />
