A total <strong>of</strong> 4 334 MSDS members<br />

entered the MSDS during Financial<br />

Year <strong>2008</strong>/09. During the reporting<br />

period, 176 members accepted a<br />

Core Service System (CSS) contract<br />

before completion <strong>of</strong> the MSDS<br />

contract period. Of the 3 382<br />

MSDS members who successfully<br />

completed their two-year MSDS<br />

contract periods in December <strong>2008</strong>,<br />

2 219 accepted CSS contracts<br />

There were 7 357 MSDS members<br />

in the system as at 31 March <strong>2009</strong><br />

During the reporting period, a total<br />

<strong>of</strong> 1 445 MSDS members exited<br />

either before, or upon, expiry <strong>of</strong><br />

their MSDS contract periods, with<br />

102 MSDS members having joined<br />

the Reserves<br />
