Foreign Aid Assistance to the DOD for FY <strong>2008</strong>/09<br />

The table below indicates foreign aid assistance to the DOD for FY <strong>2008</strong>/09. Funding in kind mostly, takes<br />

the form <strong>of</strong> the provisioning <strong>of</strong> air tickets and/or messing/accommodation and/or a daily stipend. Tuition<br />

fees for attendance <strong>of</strong> military courses are traditionally free. Therefore, the actual cost to the donor is not<br />

known and the rand value is therefore merely an estimate.<br />
