Reiko Tomii is an independent art historian and curator based in New
York who investigates post-1945 Japanese art in global and local contexts.
Her writing has been published in exhibition catalogs, scholarly periodicals,
and art magazines. She is a cofounder of the scholarly Listserv group
PoNJA-GenKon (Post-1945 Japanese Art Discussion Group/GendaiBijutsu
Kondankai).
Rachel Weiss is a writer, curator, and professor at the School of the Art
Institute of Chicago. Her work has explored the relationships between contemporary
artistic movements and the dynamics of social and political change.
She is writing a book examining the development of Cuban art since 1976.
