Reiko Tomii is an independent art historian and curator based in New<br />

York who investigates post-1945 Japanese art in global and local contexts.<br />

Her writing has been published in exhibition catalogs, scholarly periodicals,<br />

and art magazines. She is a cofounder of the scholarly Listserv group<br />

PoNJA-GenKon (Post-1945 Japanese Art Discussion Group/GendaiBijutsu<br />

Kondankai).<br />

Rachel Weiss is a writer, curator, and professor at the School of the Art<br />

Institute of Chicago. Her work has explored the relationships between contemporary<br />

artistic movements and the dynamics of social and political change.<br />

She is writing a book examining the development of Cuban art since 1976.
