Family SminthuridaeThe family Sminthuridae includes one describedtroglobite, Pararrhopalites anops, in Mexico. A speciesof the genus Sminthurus was reported by Bonet(1953a) as a troglobite in the caves of the Xilitla region,San Luis Potosi.
