Examination and study of any and all matters concerning the involvementof Fire Services with the Mass Transit Railway Corporation (MTRCL11. Liaison with MTRC and its officers and/or agents in respect of anymattex, project, structure or works pertinent to the duties andresponsibilities of the Fire Services Department.12. Liaison with Operational Commands in connection with any MTRC works areaswithin the respective Commands.Note :Details of responsibilities mentioned in Items 10 to 12 are asfollows -(i)(ii)Formulation of Fire Services requirements and recommendations inrespect of all MTRC buildings and works sites.Certification of architects plans and issue of statutorycertificate (FS 161) following satisfactory incorporation ;ofrequirements into plans in respect of MTRC buildings andstructures.(iii) Certification of Fire Service Installations layout planssubmitted by Fire Engineering Contractors in respect of MTRCbuildings and structures,(iv)(v)(vi)Consultative service with architects and engineers regardingbuilding materials, fire equipment, fire resistant and retardantproperties of materials in respect of MTRC buildings and .structures.Administration of the Code of Practice for Minimum Fire ServiceInstallations in respect of MTRC buildings and structures.Administration of the Fire Services Departmental Policy inrespect of all items enumerated in connection with MTRCprojects.(vii) Liaison with other Government departments in respect of MassTransit Studies, Buildings Office (Mass Transit Sec-), HighwaysDepartment and RHKP Traffic Office.
