Note : Details of responsibilities mentioned in Item 9 to 11 are asfollows :(i)(ii)(iii)(iv)(v)(vi)(vii)To formulate Fire Services requirements and recommendations inrespect of ail LAR buildings and works 1 sites.To certify building plans following satisfactory incorporationof requirements into plans in respect of LAR buildings andstructures.To certify of Fire Service Installations layout plan submittedby Fire Engineering Contractors in respect of LAR buildingsand structures.To advise architects and engineers regarding buildingmaterials, fire equipment, fire resistant and retardantproperties of materials in respect of LAR buildings andstructures.To ensure that the Code of Practice for Minimum Fire ServiceInstallations are complied with in respect of LAR buildingsand structures.To implement and administer department policy on fireprotection planning in connection with LAR projects.To liaise with other Government departments in respect of MassTransit Studies, Buildings Department, Highways Department andRHKPF Traffic Office.
