• The three rotary encoders, from left to right, are:ooo“LEVEL” (Talkback Level): it controls the gain of the TALKBACK microphone.To decrease the level, turn the encoder to the left. To increase the level, turnthe encoder to the right.“MONITOR“: it controls the audio level for the physical output for the studioroom monitors. To decrease the level, turn the encoder to the left. To increasethe level, turn the encoder to the right.“HP/SOURCE“:it controls the audio level for the physical output for the studioheadphones. To decrease the level, turn the encoder to the left. To increase thelevel, turn the encoder to the right. This encoder can also be used to select thesignal to monitor associated with the key “SEL”: press to access a list ofsignals, and turn the encoder to move up or down in the list of signals; pushingthe encoder a second time confirms the selection of the highlighted signal.• The four keys under the display allows to select the signal to monitor on studiospeakers and headset, from left to right:oooo“PROG“: allows you to monitor the audio signal Program.“AUD“: allows you to monitor the audio signal Audition.“SEL“:allows you to monitor any signal of the console previously selected bymeans of the “HP/SOURCE“ encoder.“CUE“:allows you to monitor the audio signal present on the CUE bus.These four keys can have two working modes that are selected from the ConfigurationSoftware (see section 4.2.4 of this manual):oo“Mixer”: each key pressed adds the signal to be monitored to the summing bus.“Exclusive”: each key pressed connects the signal to the summing bus anddisconnects any signal previously selected.AEQ CAPITOLUltra-compact digital audio mixer16
