Regrettably, prior to <strong>the</strong> completion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Audit this had not happened. The Audit believesth<strong>at</strong> providing swift and inform<strong>at</strong>ive feedback is a vital part <strong>of</strong> informing and engaging <strong>the</strong> popul<strong>at</strong>ionwho complete <strong>the</strong>se surveys, and should be a regular part <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> administr<strong>at</strong>ion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> UnacceptableBehaviour surveying process. However, ra<strong>the</strong>r than waiting on <strong>the</strong> fact sheet from DSPR, <strong>the</strong> Auditencourages ADFA to undertake its own analysis <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> d<strong>at</strong>a, develop its own communic<strong>at</strong>ions about <strong>the</strong>results and actively engage in <strong>the</strong> development <strong>of</strong> str<strong>at</strong>egies to address areas <strong>of</strong> concern.Recommend<strong>at</strong>ion 26: To provide meaningful comparisons, ADFAdevelop this survey in consult<strong>at</strong>ion with o<strong>the</strong>r Group <strong>of</strong> EightUniversities’ Residential Colleges and Halls, applicable to cadetsas both military in training and university students. ADFA shouldconsider including o<strong>the</strong>r single service training establishments in <strong>the</strong>development <strong>of</strong> this survey.Audit Report: <strong>Review</strong> <strong>into</strong> <strong>the</strong> Tre<strong>at</strong>ment <strong>of</strong> Women <strong>at</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Australian</strong> <strong>Defence</strong> <strong>Force</strong> Academy • 2013 • 107
