Lan Tuazon<br />

Lan Tuazon (1976, Philipines) studied at the<br />

Cooper Union in1999, received a MFA from Yale<br />

University in 2002 and finished a residency at the<br />

Whitney Independent Study Program in 2003. She<br />

has exhibited internationally at the Künstlerhaus<br />

Stuttgart in Germany, Floating IP and The Lowry<br />

Museum in London and with the Ize Cultural<br />

Foundation, Artist Space, Canada Gallery,<br />

Sculpture Center, and Apex Art in New York. Her art<br />

practice addresses circulation, the order of things<br />

and public space. She is the curator of Invisible<br />

Graffiti Magnet Show where she exhibited artist<br />

made magnets onto Richard Serra’s Torqued<br />

Ellipse (2006) whose work was stored in a shipping<br />

yard in the Bronx and the curatorial art project culminated<br />

into a written manifesto on public intervention<br />

projects published by Redcat Gallery (2007).<br />

Lan Tuazon lives and works in New York.<br />

Lan Tuazon (1976, Filipine) a studiat la Cooper<br />

Mona Vătămanu & Florin Tudor (1968, Constanta,<br />

Romania /1974 Geneva, Switzerland) have been<br />

working together since 2000. Selected solo exhibitions<br />

Judi Werthein<br />

Judi Werthein (b. in Argentina), received an MA in<br />

Architecture and Urbanism from the Universidad de<br />

Buenos Aires. Now lives and works in Buenos<br />

Aires and New York. Currently the co-director<br />

together with Graciela Hasper and Roberto Jacoby<br />

of El Centro de Investigaciones Artisticas or better<br />

known by C.I.A. (Center for Intelligencia in the Arts)<br />

in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Werthein is an artist<br />

that works across media engaged in an ongoing<br />

artistic investigation into the process of individual<br />

and collective subject formation, pursuing an interest<br />

in interpreting identities not as static or fixed,<br />

but rather as flexible and untranslatable. Her work<br />

has been shown at the Tate Modern, London, UK;<br />

De Appel, Amsterdam, The Netherlands; The<br />

Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art, Ridgefield,<br />

Connecticut; The Bronx Museum for the Arts, New<br />

York and the Center for Contemporary Art, Vilnius,<br />

Lithuania. Werthein has also participated in<br />

Manifesta 7, Bolzano, Italy; InSite_05, San<br />

Diego/Tijuana; the Bienal de Pontevedra, Galicia;<br />

and the 7th Bienal de La Habana, Havana, Cuba,<br />

among others.<br />

Judi Werthein (n. în Argentina) a obținut un master<br />

în arhitectură și urbanism de la Universitatea din<br />

Buenos Aires. Acum trăiește și lucrează în Buenos<br />

Aires și New York. În prezent este co-director<br />

împreună cu Graciela Hasper și Roberto Jacoby la<br />

cunoscut sub numele de C.I.A. (Centrul pentru<br />

angajată într-o continuă investigație artistică în<br />

procesul de formare individuală și colectivă a<br />

subiectului, urmărind un interes în interpretarea<br />

identităților nu ca statice sau fixate, ci ca flexibile<br />

sau intraductibile. Lucrările sale au fost expuse la<br />
