The University encourages individual faculty members to take up
Consultancy, with a ratio of 40% revenue to University and 60% to the
member concerned.

3.6 Extension Activities and Institutional Social Responsibility (ISR)
3.6.1 How does the university sensitize its faculty and students on its
Institutional Social Responsibilities? List the social outreach programmes
which have created an impact on students’ campus experience during the
last four years.
From the past four-five years, the University has excelled itself in handling the
extension and outreach programmes.
University has adopted five nearby villages. Every student volunteer is
allocated one of the villages. A student is expected to spread awareness about,
environmental issues, women’s issues, disabilities issues, de-addiction, human
rights issues, educational work with children from underprivileged
communities.
The nature of the work includes conducting various types of surveys (need
assessment surveys, impact assessment surveys, child labour survey, health
survey, pension survey), organizing awareness campaigns, collection drives
(clothes, books, toys and e-waste), conducting art craft workshops, assisting in
administrative work, helping with school annual days and other functions.
