a. Core / Elective options<br />

Students are encouraged to take add on courses in other schools and<br />

departments that may add value to their degree. In newly established schools<br />

the CBCS system is completely followed.<br />

b. Enrichment courses<br />

Courses like statistical packages, linguistic skills, research methodology etc<br />

are offered by different schools on a regular basis.<br />

c. Courses offered in modular form<br />

Some of the courses currently on offer by SoC are in modular form.<br />

d. Credit accumulation and transfer facility<br />

The university currently does not have credit accumulation and transfer<br />

facility.<br />

e. Lateral and vertical mobility within and across programmes, courses and<br />

disciplines<br />

The university currently does not have vertical mobility across programmes<br />

and courses. However, later entry and exit options are allowed in integrated<br />

programmes.<br />

1.2.3 Does the university have an explicit policy and strategy for<br />

attracting international students?<br />

Yes, the university submitted a proposal to host UK students as part of the<br />

Generation UK-India programme on teaching two courses -- 1. Yoga and<br />

Wellness and 2. Sustainable Livelihood, Cultural And Ecological Practices Of<br />

Himalayan Ecosystem Of Uttarakhand. The first course, Yoga and Wellness<br />
