Technology Centre Systems Program – <strong>Draft</strong> DPR for New TC at Rohtak<br />
experts, World Bank, O/o DC-MSME and heads of some of the existing MSME TCs have been<br />
undertaken to arrive at the requirement of human resources needed to meet the business objectives<br />
in the short and long term of the proposed TC.<br />
The following provides the details of recruitment in various phases over next few years. This phasing<br />
is suggestive and can be modified based on the need and revenue generating capabilities of the TC<br />
during operations. Some of the considerations which have been taken into account while<br />
recommending the phasing of employees are as below:<br />
► Year 2016-17: 2 staff members<br />
• GM will be involved in project implementation and work out the strategy for marketing,<br />
training, production and consultancy with the help of CNM and TP. GM will also monitor the<br />
progress of construction and procurement of machines etc. GM will also be responsible for<br />
planning of recruitment of required manpower.<br />
• Manager – Administration & Accounts will be responsible to get statutory registrations like<br />
sales tax and PF, opening of TC’s bank account, getting power and water connection etc.<br />
Manger will also support GM in recruitment of people in the coming years.<br />
► Year 2017-18: 20 staff-members<br />
• Three senior managers will be recruited to further recruit staffs in respective departments.<br />
These would also be responsible for orientation and training of respective staff members.<br />
• Senior officer - administration & HR will be recruited to support the GM and manager -<br />
administration and accounts for further recruitment of staff and forming of systems to<br />
conduct day to day administrative activities<br />
• The first long term training programme will commence this year and one senior engineer,<br />
one engineer and one senior technician will be recruited for installation of machines and<br />
conducting theory and practical training<br />
• By second half of this year, production and design staff will be recruited. The respective<br />
senior managers would be responsible for orientation and training of these staff members.<br />
These staff will undergo training (preferably at another Tool room at Aurangabad and/or<br />
Ahmedabad) for a period of 3-6 months to make them fully trained before start of the<br />
operations of the proposed TC<br />
• Manager - maintenance and senior technicians will be recruited to install and commission<br />
machines for production and training. They will also be responsible for installing the power<br />
supply system<br />
• Stores and accounts officers will be recruited to maintain statutory records and support the<br />
operations<br />
► Year 2018-19: 42 staff- member<br />
