Technology Centre Systems Program – <strong>Draft</strong> DPR for New TC at Rohtak<br />

• Production will commence during this phase and hence more engineers and senior engineers will be<br />

recruited. The number of staff has been decided based on estimated number of machines<br />

commissioned during this phase and number of shifts in production<br />

• This year some short term training courses will commence along with the starting of the second year<br />

of the long term course.<br />

• Officer sales will be recruited to support manager marketing for preparation of detailed marketing plan<br />

of the TC. The staff would be engaged in various marketing activities for wider reach of the proposed<br />

TC across the region. This would be crucial for promotion of the TC and would help departments<br />

increase their revenue<br />

• The Design and Consultancy department has been planned to commence its commercial services during<br />

this year and hence manager and senior engineers will be recruited to meet the requirement.<br />

► Year 2019-20 52 staff members<br />

The proposed TC would be fully operational by this period with activities in production, training,<br />

design and consultancy etc. Additional staff will be recruited for smooth undertaking of the gradual<br />

increase in the activities across all the departments.<br />

It is recommended to leave the position of the DGM vacant initially. The position of the DGM can be<br />

filled by a high performing senior manager within design and consulting, production or training<br />

depending upon the requirement, skill set and experience.<br />

Rest of the positions will be filled gradually as TC activity escalates and the manpower requirements<br />

increase. The tables below summarise the phasing of the organisational completion within each area;<br />

Administration and Accounting, Design and Consulting, Production, Training and Sales and<br />

Marketing, in addition to the positions of the GM and DGM. The numbers represent the numbers of<br />

employees within the specific position at a given point in time. The timeline spans from 2015 to 2026.<br />
