The Boughes of Bayes and Olives, doe declare,<br />

Nor muft we thinke, that God beftowes, alone,<br />

The Victtries of Warre, on ar.y one j<br />

Bur, that,when we contend in other things,<br />

From him, th' event that's wifht for, alfo fprings.<br />

This being fo, how dare wce,by the turns,<br />

How mad are thofc, who to the Wanes prepare,<br />

For nothing, but to fpoyle and murthcr there i<br />

Who, nor ingag'd by Faith to their Altes,<br />

Nor urg'd by any private injuries,<br />

(Nor fent,nor tolcratcd,by their Prime,<br />

Nor caring whether fide hath giv'n offence)<br />

Run rambling through the World, to kill and flay,<br />

Like ncedic Butchers, for two groats a day i<br />
