LIBERIA 3960.4 Star Radio? at 1934 UT, someone here with a threshold
carrier, but not enough audio for anything close to an ID. If Star Radio
is still on this frequency, has anyone given it an exact measurement?

0545 UT Aug 21, S=9+10dB on backlobe of 79degr antenna in Lithuania.
0559 UT endless loop "This is Radio Free Europe Radio Liberty Praha ..."
til TX off at 06.02:40 UT.

MADAGASCAR 6134.938 Radio Malagasy, at 1350 UT, French, news or similar
by a woman until 1400 UT, then into hilife. Excellent, near local level.
Nothing on 7105 kHz. 20 August.

6134.91 R. Malagasy, Antananarivo. Surprisingly early, vocal group,
rather distinctive, 1240 UT. French announcements 1245 UT, then music
again. More announcements. 1247 UT, ID as "RNM" 1248 UT, and again at
1252 UT. Adverts, "Radio Madagascar" ID 1254 UT. Quite OK signal, first
time I've heard this outlet, and no sign of 7105 kHz, July 30.

MAURITANIA 4845 20 Aug, 0058 UTC. Radio Mauritanie in Arabic talk,
staying on past supposed 0100 UT sign-off. Some Arabic prayer and French
announcements after 0100 UT with male announcer. Probably on Ramadan
schedule. Reasonably strong signal for this late in the morning, but
modulation very low. QRM from CW UTE on 4844 kHz.

MEXICO [and non] 6185 at 0134 UT Aug 21, no Portuguese, just Spanish,
so XEPPM, apparently remote report about Huapango, M&W conversing in the
open, but audio cutting off and on, mostly off. There have been reports of
RNA [Brazil] back on 6185 kHz, but not now, it seems, tho certainly there
on 11780 kHz.

MOLDOVA Mega-Streams aus Moldova. Hallo zusammen,
gerade in Moldova gefunden. Die Streams des Staatssenders:
mit amtlichen 256 kBit/s!!!
Auf dem ersten Programm laeuft gerade eine Art moldawische Speed-Polka mit
extravaganten Soundeffekten und im zweiten Programm halten die Beatles
her.
