The programme is broadcast through City FM Service from 4.00 p.m. - 5.00
p.m. each day of the week. At the launching ceremony held in SLBC premises
today Chairman Hudson Samarasinghe said about 16 thousand Sri Lankan
migrant workers in South Korea will be benefited by this programme. They
have the opportunity to get information from Sri Lanka and to address
their family members and friends via this new channel.
Participating at the ceremony South Korean Ambassador to Sri Lanka Cho Kee
Chool said this radio programme will lead to enhance diplomatic, cultural

The broadcast from 1030-1130 UTC is transmitted from the Deutsche Welle
Trincomalee facility on 15120 kHz and is heard in Sri Lanka on FM 92.2
MHz. The programme is in Sinhala. SW frequency and FM both confirmed by
live monitoring in Colombo with co-channel AWR from 1030-1100 UT then in
the clear.
The Service to the Middle East in Sinhala is on the air daily 1630-1830

schedule 1000-1500 UT, March 30. [hopefully not covered by CHN mainland
jamming ?? wb.]
12150 Xi Wang Zhi Sheng SOH, drums mx, - but could also be Chinese
Firedrake music, just above threshold at 0020 UT.

UGANDA The new Media Broadcast schedule shows Radio Y'Abaganda (Ababaka)
listed at 1700-1800 Saturday on 15410 via Issoudun, France. Googling I
found that this seems to be a new target broadcast on shortwave to Uganda
from an existing internet-only radio station in support of a Bugandan
group. The online stream had lively African music with English
announcements for "Buganda Internet Radio".
