15210 YFR Okeechobee in En at 1450 UT suffered by a strange UTE like
hiss/buzz signal. Scheduled 1400-1600 UT, S=6-7 signal in Germany. I
couldn't determinate whether this was a separate UTE "vibration buzz" or
settled together with YFR audio.

WWCR Nashville on 15825 kHz noted with two accompanied spurious signals on
15809.39 kHz and 15840.61 kHz at 1513 UT Feb 13. English sermon "to win
Christus..." S=9+30dB on 15825 kHz.

Am trying to find out why WWCR has suddenly left 5070 for 4775 kHz. If
there was an interference complaint about 5070 kHz, where was it from? Was
there also one concerning 3240 kHz, which has been replaced by 7465 /
7490 kHz? Thanks,

Hi Glen[n], WWCR had to vacate 3240 kHz due to an interference complaint
from a MARS operation. We have received an interference complaint from a
foreign government's fixed operation concerning WWCR's 5070 kHz operation.
We are currently communicating with that government agency concerning
this; meanwhile, WWCR is operating on 4775 kHz pending the outcome of this
matter.

von 14 Tagen mit einem det. Brief. Adresse: Cumulus Media, P.O.Box 100,
49 Acme Road, Brewer, ME 04412, USA. v/s Fred Miller, Operations Manager.
Aufgrund der im Brief enthaltenen Beschreibung liess sich auch der
Sendestandort an der Newberry Neck Road leicht auf Google Earth finden,
und zwar bei 44 27 59.40 N 68 28 10.78 W
Wie Fred Miller auch noch mitteilte, steht der seeseitige Masten z.Z. im
Wasser.

6875 WYFR replaced 6915 kHz at 0300-1200 to northwestern USA/CAN.
15550 QSL WJHR, Milton, Florida: Unsatisfied with a short e-mail from the
station, I re-sent my e-mail report by postal mail with a SASE, requesting
a postal QSL. In about 10 days I received an ersatz QSL-card, specifically
a piece of paper with stn name, location, fqy, scheduled hours (0900-1700
CST), but no specific reception details, taped to the back of a blank
George S. Mock, WB4BFO QSL-card; also a short note on the back of a sheet
of a business products letterhead thanks for listening, we just installed
a log periodic, God will bless you for a donation. Tnx to tip from John

VIETNAM 9730 V. of Vietnam at *2100 UT s/on in French ("Ici La Voix du
Vietnam ...") and into news and actualities with female announcer.
Somewhat choppy and with "distant"-sounding audio, but fair overall.
