Miraya on 3 freqs!! Tnks to Wolfgang Bushel I found today May 18, that
Miraya FM could be heard on 9480 (QRMed by another) // 10000 (clear at S9)
in // to main 9740 kHz (S=9+10) on 04xx UT. Please notice that my computer
is still out of order.

May you can inform the colleagues in Rimavska Sobota transmitter station,
that fair spurious signals on 9480 and 10000 kHz are widely heard in all
Europe mornings of fundamental 9740 kHz outlet to Sudan til 0600 UTC.

0600 UTC. Mischprodukt? Oder sahen die vier Nullen so schon auf den

hosted by YL in Engllish; final comments at 1158 UT, followed by closedown
anmt and anthem at 1201 UT. Fair.

SOUTH AFRICA 4880 Surprised to find Channel Africa on unscheduled
4880 kHz last night at 2230 UT in Swahili (I think) followed by French
at 2300-2355 and English from 0000 UT (i.e. the same sequence of
languages they carry in their scheduled broadcasts). Couldn't stay
awake to check further into the night! Fair strength signal on a
clear frequency with moderate fading here - SIO 353.
Channel Africa is not scheduled on their own or Sentech's website at this
late hour. Meyerton does use 4880 of course for SW Radio Africa but
earlier in the evening.
Wondered if this was just a test or maybe Channel Africa is extending
broadcasts with the World Cup in South Africa approaching in June?
