GUINEA 4900 Familia FM, Timbi Madini, was putting a superb signal
obs'ed. after I sent my latest report, on July 22: never that good.
7125 R. Guinee, Sonfonya, has been inaudible for a few days' time. I
tried this both this morning and mins. ago (1430 UT), and no signal.
7125 R. Guinee, Sonfonya, finally back on the air as obs'ed. y/day's
evening; fair signal. Were absent during the day though, and are not
audible now as I compile this, 1430 UT.
(Carlos Goncalves-POR, wwdxc BC-DX TopNews July 26)
INDIA 3957.97 AIR again off frequency. Jose, observe AIR on 3957.97
tonight 1645+ UT again drifting. But usually find them on 3945 kHz.
(Victor Goonetilleke-CLN 4S7VK, DXindia July 31)
INDONESIA 4604.93 RRI Serui at 1205-1300+ UT on July28. Jakarta program
in progress // 3995.03 kHz and probably others. Back to local programming
at 1234 UT, with segued vocals, some sounding like older US C&W standards;
no anmts heard; 1300 SCI and Jak relay again but much weaker now. At tunein
and throughout the hour, was the strongest low-band Indo. Also noted on
27 July, so 3 days in a row now. Hope this indicates a permanent reactivation.
Let's hope Manokwari, Pontianak, and others follow suit.
(John Wilkins-CO-USA, DXplorer July 28)
3325 RRI Palangkaraya, 1311 UT, July 27. In BI; dramatization that ended
with segment of indigenous songs; gave name of performers; clear ID;
almost fair.
Attached audio is 20 seconds long with ID and indigenous songs.
4604.90, RRI Serui, randomly 1233-1445 UT, July 27. Their usual format,
but also had a long segment of on air phone calls; they faded out and were
lost about 1445 UT, so I missed their nice sign off at 1458 UT, as noted
on Atsunori Ishida's blog, where he has an audio of it. July 28 they had
the strongest signal heard so far, as also noted by Glenn.
(Ron Howard-CA-USA, dxld July 28)
