recovering from the G3 geomagnetic storm of a couple days ago, so things<br />

transmitting 5 kHz from any North American SW frequency is self-defeating<br />

Yes 9890 Armavir Krasnodar Caucasus is on air 2230 UT today April 7(UT)<br />

noted with free jazz music, played in // to Koenigsberg Bolshakovo MW 1215<br />

kHz. Latter is 4 seconds ahead of slower Armavir transmission. Very lousy<br />

signal strength on 9890, like a 20 kW small domestic station.<br />

At 0000 UT only VoRUS Russian sce on 7270 kHz via Yerevam Kamo Gavar site<br />

heard here in western Europe tonight. The only Russian txion in 41 and 31<br />

mb. [all Greece, Serbia/Bosnia, Bulgaria and Romania sces towards NoAM<br />

with fair signals at same time.]<br />

Weak signals under threshold on tentat 7285 and, tiny carrier on 9890 kHz<br />

at 0000 UT. Looks like the Russian internat radio service is bankrupt in<br />

some way at present ... ?<br />
