LUXEMBOURG DRM transmissions on 1440 are almost gone, they have
meanwhile been cut back to a token operation between 8 AM and 9 AM local
time. Otherwise the Marnach transmitter is operated in AM mode, in the
time slots 04:30-08:00 and 17:00-02:00 CET or thereabouts. As well-known,
a large amount of this airtime is leased out to missionaries, CRI and KBS,
which presumably for now saved 1440 kHz from being closed down altogether.
Gossip has it that RTL meanwhile became less willing to pump money into
its Luxembourg radio operations. This gathered, amongst other sources,

Concerning the power used on 1440 kHz: It is understood that Marnach has
now Transradio solid-state equipment for 600 kW and that these 600 kW are
the power at which the paid relays are being run. The tube transmitters (S
4006, they should still have an even older 600 kW Telefunken/Transradio
transmitter with classic plate modulation as well), in the past run in a
pair as 1200 kW, are no longer in routine use.
[later] RTL DRM: Their use of 6095 kHz may have been cut back even further
now. This morning it has been reported that the transmitter was on from
0700 to 0800 UT only, carrying 0700-0730 UT the abridged version of KBS
German and 0730-0800 UT RTL Radio. Exactly the same pattern as on 1440
kHz.

MADAGASCAR/IRAN 17690 NHK interval signal over and over again 1230-1242
UT Oct 31, endless loop, registered via Madagascar relay site. But no real
program heard. Transmitter switched off at 1243-1244 UT, "sorry for
interuption ..." started then in French, regular program from 1244 UT.
Read letterbox by Japanese lady and African native male announcer in
French, letter from Congo read. Much fluttery signal from MDG S=9+10dB.
Always underneath heard co-channel IRIB Sirjan in Bahasa Malay.

MALAYSIA RT Malaysia DRM. RT Malaysia seems to started DRM test
broadcast.
Japanese DXer received DRM broadcast on Nov. 4 at 1030 UT on 11885 kHz.

And Label ID:8299 is confirmed at 7235 kHz at 1148 UT. Probably this seems
to be RT Malaysia, too. On Nov. 5 can't confirm 11885 kHz and 7235 kHz.
[later] Subject: RT Malaysia on 7255 kHz. I can receive sound like Tamil
service seeming to be RT Malaysia "Minnal-FM" on 7255 kHz from Nov. 2 at
+0930-2030+ UT. New TX of Continental Model 418G-DRM tx?

MOLDOVA 6240 kHz. Auf der 6240 kHz laeuft im Moment (2209 UT) seit 2145
UT Radio PMR ("Pridnestrovyja") in russischer Sprache. Das ist nach meinem
Wissen neu. Die Sendung ist auch laenger als die anderen. Vorher kamen die
