U.K. UK transmitter sites on Google Street Maps. Google Street Maps
extended its coverage to most of the UK on Friday. I've been spending ages
viewing the house I grew up in and the surrounding area which I haven't
visited for years :)
There's a thread on the Digital Spy radio forum Google Street View Radio
Stations and Transmitters Game which has currently got 96 posts, most with
more than one site/studio, mostly domestic but here's the post with links
to Wooferton, Rampisham and Skelton:
Google Street Maps now has nearly national coverage of Spain, France,
Italy and the US according to UK newspaper articles.

11875 IBRA Radio via Rampisham Transmitter. After sending an e-mail
follow-up, got back a reply in 24-hours from the V/S: Maria Levander. She
sent me two e-mail .pdf QSL letters with full data and site indicated with
languages of the two broadcasts (Hausa and Fon).

USA Excellent propagation condition this afternoon March 14th even on
13, 16, and 19 mb.
For the first time in past two years I heard reliable signals from US
stations in 13 mb again. 21640 kHz WHRI noted on S=4 level at 1635 UT
March 14th. YFR from Okeechobee Florida in Russian noted with S=7 level on
21745 kHz at 1640 UT.
15420 English at 1700 UT from WBCQ Kennebunk, S=8 level, ahead and severe
interference to BBCWS nx from Meyerton outlet.
13570 WINB Red Lion, funky bohemian like signal, like "rasp ssb mode"
sound at 1710 UT, English sermon, S=6-7.

QSL - After a really dry spell these have finally manage to make their
appearance.
The following where received to a Postal report with CD in Mp3 format, to
Indiana Address.
V/S: Initials "LMV". Total time of 6 months, 38 days after posting these
reports as follow-ups to WHRI address in Indiana.

15665 Voice of Biafra International via Cypress Creek. Full data (w/site

9410 BBC-WS Spanish BCB via Cypress Creek. Full data (w/site indicated &
name of station) '20 years of short-wave Ministry to the World' QSL Card.
