ISRAEL Winter time in ISR starting from Sep 6, not from 13 th. Now all
px of Kol Israel is 1 hour later but on same freqs. On Sep 29&30 there
was a silence on all SW outlets, exc that operating on 9435, but with
carrier only!!!
Clandestine radio stn V 0 S A in Azeri heard from Fri Sep 25 one hour
later. 0615-0715v & 1630-1730v on 13645.1 kHz.

0613.

[ALBANIA/IRAN/UK] FEBA Radio in Azeri. Those tests [via TWR Albania
relay] are in fact complete now. The Rep of Azerbaijan does not have a
significant audience for SW bcs, and our primary audience is in the
Iranian provinces of East and West Azerbaijan. We did arrange to set
up some in-country monitoring.

CANADA/IRAN Azeri nationalists launch new radio stn in CAN. Head of the
SAP's press sce, said that after lengthy debate, the radio stn of the SAP
had finally started operating. "The radio has aired sample progrs. Its
first progrs have been a success. The radio is called SAP.
It intends to publicize in NoAM the problems of Karabakh and of national
liberation in Southern Azerbaijan [northern Iran]. I think that the radio
will benefit both Northern [Azerbaijan proper] and SoAzerbaijan from the
first day of its operation." Javad Ismayilly said that the radio was owned
by Hashim Garapapag, former activist of the National Liberation Movement
of SoAzerbaijan. "The radio is bc on the territory of CAN for the time
being. The idea is to bc to the greater part of the USA in future. ... The
SAP radio will be bc on the Internet in the near future.

SAUDI ARABIA [ABU DHABI progr] On Dec 8th (only?) instead of BSKSA
Riyadh's progr in Fr 0800-0955 UT, was aired a special progr from Abu
Dhabi with ID "Idaatu halifia ... min Abu Dhabi" in Ar with reportages
from ? Mecca. Till 0855 UT heard on 17765 and 17785 and from 0855 UT only
on 17785 kHz.
Heard in Urdu 1352-1400 UT on 13775 and 17660 kHz and from 1400-1555 UT on
