Found on Google Earth --- While wandering about Iceland looking for the
erupting volcano, I found this. Could this be the transmitting antenna for
Iceland's LW station on 189 kHz?

If the coordinates on this picture are correct, it doesn't match either
the 198 site in Gufuskalar or the 207 site on the east coast of Iceland.
Maybe a LORAN mast?

Glenn, I am still digging, but it's not Loran (the 189 kHz site is the
former Loran site, repurposed by Harris Corp. with help from us;
the 207 kHz is a newly established site as a part of the same project,
also our design), and it's not Omega, and those coordinates don't match
any Decca sites.
I have some reference to a "1000 footer" in Iceland in some project
correspondence about impedance calculations for various low frequency and
VLF sites, but my data doesn't include a location.
But I think it's the Navy Keflavik LF (37.5 kHz) and it was built in 1993
or so, but is supposedly 13 km from the former Keflavik NAS, which is in
southern Iceland.
It doesn't look like it's toploaded, but it does have insulators in the
guys, so is some sort of MF, LF or VLF installation. But I'm unable to
identify it.

(not 2000 UT as indicated in WRTH) with announcements by a woman
(including e-mail address), then "This is the Voice of Indonesia...the
news..." which included stories about "Global Earth Hour", foreign health
workers in Indonesia and mine project to create 6000 jobs. Decent copy in
