"lucky" to get the "look what we can" programming. And this fits to the<br />

Jan 03, good carrier, but very low audio. A few minutes later audio<br />

improving considerably, in Russian, ID at 1202 UT as "Govorit Sukhumi<br />

...", news, several reports, music and songs, no interferences, 35444.<br />

Dec 30, s/on with sound of African instruments, talk in presumably<br />

Fulfulde. Short music and greetings "Assalaam Aleikum" at 1843 UT,<br />

another talk program, 45444-45343.<br />

11830 Voice of Ethiopian Unity, via Nauen, at *1700-1729 UT on Wed<br />

Dec 30, full ID "Yih Finote Demokrasi ye Ethiopia andinet dimts" in<br />

Amharic, talk, an Ethiopian popular song, 45444-43443 sometimes<br />

disturbed by heavy jamming.<br />

GREECE Voice of Greece ERA-5 and ERT-3 regional service heard on three<br />

channels again today Jan 22nd. 3rd tx at Avlis site was on repair since<br />

Dec 27, 2009.<br />

In 6-10 UT slot only two frequencies in use. ERA-5, The Voice of Greece,<br />

ERT S.A., today Fri Jan 22, at 0800 UT ERA-5 in Greek language on both<br />

9420 and 12105 kHz (not 15630 kHz).<br />

9420 kHz S=9+20dB, 12105 kHz S=9+40dB powerhouse signal here in southern<br />

Germany.<br />

At 1150 UT noted three Greek language transmissions from Avlis.<br />

ERA-5 on both 9420 kHz S=9+20dB and 15650 kHz S=9+10dB, and weakest signal<br />

from Avlis site on ERT-3 regional Thessaloniki relay 9935 kHz with S=9<br />

pure.<br />

Today on Radio Filia carried Greek from tune<br />

in at 0800 UT, until 0900 UT when the German half hour was heard. At the<br />

end also 12105 kHz was heard. At 0933 UT Russian began.<br />

These programs are not in // with 12105 kHz which also is heard here in<br />

Copenhagen, but with QRM 0930-1045 UT from KTWR, Agat, Guam. Here at 0930<br />

UT both 9420 and 15630 kHz are in // with 12105 kHz.<br />

So, they seem to have got their 3rd tx running again.<br />
