Configuring SPAN on Nexus 1000V<br />

Configuration of SPAN on Nexus 1000V is a multistep process in which the SPAN source,<br />

SPAN destination, <strong>and</strong> monitoring ports are defined. The first step is to define the monitor<br />

port connection where the network analysis, IDS/IPS, or other device collects the SPAN<br />

traffic, as demonstrated in Example 7-15. Figure 7-4 illustrates the topology used in<br />

Examples 7-15 through 7-17.<br />
