N7K-2(config-sys-qos)#
The default network-qos policy is the default-nq-8e-policy, which does not specify a nodrop
policy. The other policies enable one, two, or four no-drop policies depending on the
network’s requirements. This configuration is performed in the default or admin VDC on the
Nexus 7000 and is systemwide.
Note
A policy with no-drop capabilities can be configured in a chassis with modules that
support no-drop applications. At press time, three modules support the no-drop class.
The F1, F2, and F2e modules have hardware support for no-drop classes. All M-
series modules do not.
Verification of the system network-qos policy can be performed, as shown in Example 10-5.
