given me <strong>the</strong> hand <strong>of</strong> Ghazwaan's daughter in marriage after I had been her<br />

servant to earn food to fill my belly and now I am able to annoy her just as she<br />

used to annoy me. Destruction will come to <strong>the</strong> Arabs because <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> evil that<br />

has already arrived. Destruction will come to <strong>the</strong>m because <strong>the</strong>y will be led by<br />

mere<br />

children who will rule according to <strong>the</strong>ir passion and will kill in anger.<br />

Glad tidings to you, 0 non-Arabs! I swear by <strong>the</strong> Being Who controls my life that<br />

even if Deen is suspended on <strong>the</strong> Pleiades constellzition, a group from you will<br />

certainly reach it." ('I<br />

Hadhrat Abu Habeebah narrates that he entered <strong>the</strong> house <strong>of</strong> Hadhrat Uthmaan<br />

during <strong>the</strong> period when he was besieged in it. It was <strong>the</strong>n he heard<br />

Hadhrat Abu Hurayrah ?&82W6 seek permission to address Hadhrat Uthmaan<br />

ik83@%. When permission was granted, Hadhrat Abu Hurayrah #,W stood up,<br />

duly praised Allaah and <strong>the</strong>n said, "I have heard Rasulullaah say, 'You will<br />

surely encounter plenty <strong>of</strong> tribulation and disputes after me.' '0 Rasulullaah<br />

m!' someone asked, 'What do you advise us to do?' Rasulullaah replied,<br />

'Attach yourselves with <strong>the</strong> Ameer and those with him."' Saying this, Hadhrat Abu<br />

Hurayrah B,- pointed towards Hadhrat Uthmaan %%~j.(~)<br />

A Lecture <strong>of</strong> Hadhrat Abdullaah bin Salaam @*GW<br />

Hadhrat Muhammad bin Yusuf bin Hadhrat Abdullaah bin Salaam reports that he<br />

once sought permission to see Hajjaaj bin Yusuf and when permission was<br />

granted, he entered and greeted with Salaam. Hajjaaj instructed two men sitting<br />

close to his chair to make way and when <strong>the</strong>y did, Hadhrat Muhammad bin Yusuf<br />

sat down. Hajjaaj <strong>the</strong>n said to him, "May Allaah grant abundant good to your<br />

fa<strong>the</strong>r. Do you know <strong>the</strong> narration that your fa<strong>the</strong>r reported to Abdul Malik bin<br />

Marwaan, which he heard from your grandfa<strong>the</strong>r Hadhrat Abdullaah bin Salaam<br />

4?BG4&!3j?" "May Allaah have mercy on you," Hadhrat Muhammad bin Yusuf<br />

remarked, "<strong>the</strong>re are so many narrations. Which one is it?" Hajjaaj replied, "<strong>The</strong><br />

Hadhrat Muhammad bin Yusuf <strong>the</strong>n said, "I know that narration. When Hadhrat<br />

Uthmaan ?3&@!%5 was besieged in his house, Hadhrat Abdullaah bin Salaam<br />

?%@&!% arrived and entered <strong>the</strong> house. <strong>The</strong> people gave him way until he came to<br />

Hadhrat Uthmaan and said, 'Peace be on you, 0 Ameerul Mu'mineen!'<br />

'Peace be on you too,' Hadhrat Uthmaan 3W&!G replied, 'What brings you here, 0<br />

Abdullaah bin Salaam?' Hadhrat Abdullaah bin Salaam ~,lSG replied, 'I have<br />

come to remain by your side (and to fight <strong>the</strong>se people) until I am ei<strong>the</strong>r<br />

martyred or until Allaah grants you victory because I estimate that <strong>the</strong>se people<br />

will definitely come out to fight you. If <strong>the</strong>y ever succeed in martyring you, it will<br />
