26 Support the weight of the engine/gearbox<br />

unit by using a trolley jack, with a wooden<br />

spacer to prevent damage to the transmission<br />

casing. Unbolt the mounting bracket from the<br />

gearbox <strong>and</strong> the connecting link from the<br />

underbody bracket, then remove the<br />

mounting (see illustrations).<br />

27 Unscrew the through-bolt to separate the<br />

connecting link from the bracket. Check<br />

carefully for signs of wear or damage, paying<br />

particular attention to the connecting link<br />

rubber bushes. Renew as necessary.<br />

28 Reassembly is the reverse of the removal<br />

procedure. Tighten all mounting bolts to the<br />

specified torque setting.<br />
