The suffixes can be grouped into the following categories, based on the
distinctive features:
I. Suffixes containing consonants in the singular
1) With an initial vowel: genitive -ń, -äń | dative-allative -ńďi, -äńďi |
translative -ks, -äks | causative -nksä, -änksä
2) Without an initial vowel: illative -s | inessive -sä | elative -stä | ablative
-dä, -tä | prolative -va, -ga, -ka, -gä | abessive -ftämä | comparative -ška
3) Consonant (v)/vowel (-u, -i): lative -v, -u, -i
II. In the plural -t, -ť
