AWARDS @ IFA NEWS ADVERTORIAL IFA PRODUCT TECHNICAL INNOVATION AWARD 2019 – WINNERS ANNOUNCED ECOVACS Every year, IFA acts as a benchmark for global CE industry leaders with its Product Technical Innovation Award (IFA- PTIA) in conjunction with International Data Group (IDG) and the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GIC). Winning companies include Bosch, Siemens, TCL, Google, SONY, LG, Midea, AEG, Miele, Skyworth, BOE, Beko, KONKA, Kärcher, Changhong, Ecovacs, De’Longhi, Philips, Amazfit and Millo. Of the 20 selected companies, eight are Chinese, accounting for 40% of the winning products. They include TCL which takes the ‘Home Theatre Gold Award’ for the Mini LED TV X10/C11 and the ‘Anti-Pollution and Separate Washing Innovation Gold Award’ for its Classified Washing Machine X10-110BDI. Further Chinese successes include Colmo, a highend AI technology appliance brand under Midea, winning the ‘Phase Change Energy Storage Technology Innovation Gold Award’ and ‘IAQ Technology Innovation Gold Award’ with its CFXH2050 water heater and KFR- 35GW/CK1C-9 air conditioner respectively; Skyworth/Metz smart home platform Swaiot wins ‘AIoT Innovation Gold Award’; BOE BD Cell receives the ‘Display Technology Innovation Gold Award’; KONKA LED98A3/ LED86A3 and OLED65V1 respectively win the ‘Design Innovation Gold Award’ and ‘Audio-Visual Experience Gold Award’; Ecovacs Deebot OZMO950 receives the ‘Mapping Technology Innovation Gold Award’.
