NEWS GROUPE SEB

NEWS GROUPE SEB CONTINUES ON PATH OF INNOVATION GREAT LITTLE HELPERS BY WMF: The Fourth Generation of KITCHENminis WMF Group presents the fourth generation of the WMF KITCHENminis at IFA this year. The series has experienced tremendous success over recent years with a range of devices – reason enough to build on the options for the preparation of healthy, home-made food. These compact, electric kitchen devices were developed for the growing number of small urban households with the aim of saving space, electricity and resources whilst at the same time providing 100% performance, total efficiency and elegant design. The fourth generation WMF KITCHENminis offer something new: Aroma glass coffee machine, Aroma thermal coffee machine to go, rice cooker with to go lunch box, snack to go dryer, My Egg 1-egg cooker, long-slot toaster and chopper. WMF always places modern lifestyle in the foreground in product design and the development of new products: Its range covers the Breakfast, Healthy Eating and Homemade segments with its 16 devices. Today, more than ever, people want healthy home-made food when on the go. Home-made but ready-to-go is the trend. The seven new WMF KITCHENminis have been designed exactly for this modern way of living and supplement the available range, which now spans 23 devices. The global nutrition trend - healthy preparation using fresh regional produce - continues to gather pace. "Our target group is always ready to try new ideas and flavours and – convinced that it's better to "know what's in your food" – prefers to make their own fancy snacks," says Martin Ludwig, Managing Director of the WMF Group's Consumer Electric division. "Demand for practical to-go products is high, whilst at the same time, customers are keen to avoid disposable packaging. In developing our new WMF KITCHENminis, our focus extends to more than just good design, performance, functionality and compactness. Our customers are to look forward to their time in the kitchen, because they can do (pretty much) everything themselves and prepare food to an excellent standard" Hall 6.1 Stand 102 Groupe SEB continues to lead in the small appliance market. We asked Astrid Duhamel, head of communication and digital for SEB what’s new this year. Our aim has always been to make consumers’ lives easier and more beautiful, and now this is becoming even more exciting, because we have connected products, which adds a real interest for the customer. You will find a number of interesting products at our stand, that will really give added value when it comes to the handling of the machine, on the product experience, and obtaining a more precise result. This is our global direction, then we can look more in detail about food preparation, electrical cooking, and fully automatic coffee makers. A prominent figure again this year is the famous TV chef Steffen Henssler. Can you tell us more about his participation? Steffen Henssler is here as brand ambassador for Krups and Tefal as part of a long-term. Astrid Duhamel Head of communication and digital - SEB Cooperation, underlined by PoS campaigns and a broad media campaign. While our brands are already very well known, it has been important for us that it also become a contemporary, cool brand, and Henssler is known as a very modern, relaxed chef with an interesting cuisine. He is a perfectionist of passion, professional through and through, casual, unconventional and loves reliable technology. He has the same high demands on kitchen utensils as we all do. He shows that our devices are fun and inspiring in terms of performance and equipment for absolute pros, because "perfection can be tasted". The catch phrase for Tefal is "Ingeniously different": an example being the versatile deep fryer that prepares numerous dishes with only one tablespoon of oil and can be operated via Bluetooth or an electric contact grill, or the perfect matching of grill temperature and duration to optimal grill results Entrance South Stand 101 16
