Coniopteryx litoralis n. sp. (figs. 14—20)
A small dark species with greyish brown wings. The species is very sparcely
covered with white wax.
The head (fig. 15) is reddish-brown with brown mandibles. The eyes are
greyish-black around the comparatively small foramen. The genae are narrow
and the vertex is highly raised. The palpi are greyish brown. The last segment
of the maxillary palp is about three times as long as the first and not much
broader than the fourth. The first and the second segments of the labial palpi
are very small, the last segment is large and ovate. The antennae are dark
brown and 29- to 34-segmented. They are very densely hairy. The scape is
broad and one and a half times as long as it is apically broad; the pedicel is
not much broader than the first segments of the flagellum. The first three segments
of the flagellum are broader than long, the other segments being about
as long as broad.
