Semidalis pseudouncinata n. sp. (figs. 26—32)
An ochreous-brown species with hyaline wings sparcely covered with whitish
wax. Length of body about 2 mm.
The head (fig. 32) is testaceous and almost identical with that of S. uncinata
Tjeder. The vertex is faintly raised and the genae are very short. The
eyes are rather large and black. The ocular diaphragm is blackish around the
foramen. The mandibles are clear brown, the palpi dark brown. The maxillary
palpi are long and slender. The two first segments are short, the fifth segment
is slender and about as long as the third and the fourth segments together.
The last segment of the labial palpi is large. The antennae are yellowish brown,
27- to 31-segmented and distinctly shorter than the fore-wing. The space is
