Rein-Latex-Gummituch
Hochflexibles, transparentes Gummituch zum Vakuumpressen
auch komplizierter Bauteile z.B. in Negativ-Formen.
Nicht selbsttrennend, daher nicht direkt auf dem Laminat
verwenden. Um eine gleichmäßige Absaugung zu erreichen und
die Folie vor Harzkontakt zu schützen, empfehlen wir folgenden
Laminataufbau:
Laminat Abreißgewebe Lochfolie Saugvlies evtl. noch
eine dünne PE-Folie oder Stretch-Folie Latex-Gummituch
(siehe Schema Seite 11.2).
Das Latex-Gummituch wird mit dem doppelseitig klebenden Vakuum-Dichtband
am Formrand befestigt. Tuch und Dichtband verkleben allerdings stark, so daß
ein beschädigungsfreies Entfernen oft nicht möglich ist. Um dies zu verhindern,
kann das Latex-Gummituch ggf. mit einem Trennmittel behandelt werden.
Vorversuche sind empfehlenswert. Eine weitere Möglichkeit ist das Abdichten
mittels Spannrahmen und Gummidichtung. Hier muß der Konstrukteur der
Form eine geeignete Vorrichtung bauen.
Latex-Gummituch dunkel lagern, da UV-empfindlich.

Pure latex rubber sheet
Highly flexible, transparent rubber sheet for vacuum press
moulding, also of complex parts e.g. in female moulds.This
sheet is not self-releasing and therefore unsuitable for application
directly on the laminate. So that evacuation takes place uniformly
over the whole surface and there is no contact between the sheet
and resin, we recommend the following laminate lay-up:
laminate tear-off fabric perforated film non-woven absorber
possibly a thin PE or stretch film latex rubber sheet
(see diagram on page 11.2).
The latex rubber sheet is fastened along the edges of the mould with the
double-sided adhesive vacuum sealing tape. Both the sheet and the sealing
tape, however, are highly adhesive, with the result that they often cannot be
removed without causing damage. This damage can be avoided when the latex
rubber sheet is treated with a release agent. Preliminary tests are recommended.
Another sealing alternative takes the form of a tenter and rubber gasket. In this
event, the designer of the mould must build a suitable jig.
The latex rubber sheet is UV-sensitive, so it must be stored in a dark place.
