Dear Readers
»Life’s opportunities always lie ahead,« was the maxim of our company founder,
the pharmacist Helmut Vetter, and honorary senator. It’s a mission statement that
applies to the company as well. In the past, we took advantage of new opportunities
over and over again. We have had great success with that, as our development over
the past 60 years shows.
This retrospective is important: We can only shape our future when we know
where we come from. »From pharmacy to global leader. Vetter through time« lets us
revisit the changes and successes of our history.
The chronicle highlights important turning points of our history, from the beginnings
at the Ravensburg pharmacy and the company’s decision to become a contract
manufacturer all the way to making aseptic prefilled syringes and the expansion of
our sites and capacities. The depiction shows clearly that change is part of Vetter. As
a generator of innovation, change is indeed one of our best employees.
Our roots lie in the courage to evolve, and they serve as the foundation for our
successes and growth. In the past, we always seized novelty as an opportunity.
Faithful to Helmut Vetter’s maxim, we have always been open for new challenges.
And we wish to remain that way in the future. When we look into our history, we see
that we have not deviated from that tradition.
