sacra parish. Dubford is a small hamlet in Gamrie.<br />
GAEDENSTOWN is a village in Gamrie parish,<br />
nine miles east <strong>of</strong> Banff, and 14 west <strong>of</strong> Fraserburgh<br />
here is an Established Church or Chapel <strong>of</strong> Ease and<br />
one for <strong>the</strong> United Presbyterians. There is a branch<br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>North</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Scotland</strong> Bank here. Crovie is a<br />
small village one mile from Gardenstown. The total<br />
number <strong>of</strong> fishing boats in <strong>the</strong> two villages is 150.<br />
The parish <strong>of</strong> Gamrie extends about eleven miles<br />
along <strong>the</strong> coast.<br />
