sacra parish. Dubford is a small hamlet in Gamrie.
GAEDENSTOWN is a village in Gamrie parish,
nine miles east of Banff, and 14 west of Fraserburgh
here is an Established Church or Chapel of Ease and
one for the United Presbyterians. There is a branch
of the North of Scotland Bank here. Crovie is a
small village one mile from Gardenstown. The total
number of fishing boats in the two villages is 150.
The parish of Gamrie extends about eleven miles
along the coast.
