Lord (Bh. Glta, 12-5) says : " Greater is <strong>the</strong>ir trouble whose<br />
thoughts are set on <strong>the</strong> Unmanifested ; for, <strong>the</strong> path <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
Un manifested is very hard for <strong>the</strong> embodied to reach."<br />
716. The unconquercd (AparSjitah). (862)<br />
By <strong>the</strong> desires and <strong>the</strong> rest internally, and by <strong>the</strong><br />
Asuras and o<strong>the</strong>rs externally. (S'lo. 89)<br />
717. The world-formed (Vis'vamurtih).<br />
Being <strong>the</strong> universal Soul.<br />
718. The great-formed (Mahamurtih).<br />
When he is reclining on <strong>the</strong> S'esha couch.<br />
Vya. The whole universe is a part <strong>of</strong> him.<br />
719. Wisdom-formed (Uiptamurtih).<br />
Or <strong>the</strong> Taijasa form, assumed by him at his own will,<br />
is radiant.<br />
Vya. He posses&es <strong>the</strong> brightness <strong>of</strong> a thousand suns.<br />
720. Having no form (Amurtimfln).<br />
Brought on by Karma.<br />
Vya. His forms are Avyakta, Purusha, etc.<br />
721. Many-formed (Anekamurtih).<br />
He takes various forms at his own wish during incarnations<br />
in order to help <strong>the</strong> world.<br />
722. Unmanifested (Avyaktah).<br />
Though he has various forms, still he cannot be<br />
defined precisely.<br />
723. The myriad-formed (Satamiirtih).<br />
He, whose form is pure consciousness, has many forms<br />
created by his own thought.<br />
Vya. Brahma and o<strong>the</strong>r forms were from him.<br />
724. Myriad-faced (SktSnanah).<br />
As he is <strong>the</strong> universal form. (S'lo. 90)
