173. Of mighty intellect (Mahabuddhih).<br />
Being wiser than <strong>the</strong> wise.<br />
174. Of great energy (Mahavlryah).<br />
Possessed <strong>of</strong> energy <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> nature <strong>of</strong> Avidya which<br />
generates ' Mahat'.<br />
Vya. His strength is never changed.<br />
175. Of immense power (Mahas'aktih).<br />
Vya. He possesses <strong>the</strong> energy <strong>of</strong> material and instrumental<br />
causes.<br />
176. Of great splendour (Mahadyutih).<br />
Internally and externally. The S'rutis (Br. Up., 6-3-9)<br />
say: "He is self-radiant." (Mun., 4-9): "He is <strong>the</strong><br />
light <strong>of</strong> lights."<br />
Vya. His light never depends on <strong>the</strong> assistance <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
senses.<br />
177. Of indefinable form (Anirdesyavapuh). (656)<br />

respectively when <strong>the</strong> ocean was churned and when <strong>the</strong><br />
