3 Configure the following options as necessary:
Performing Member Operations
Change Package options appear only if change packages are
enabled. Select a change package from the Change Package drop
down list, or click Create to create a new change package.
Force Creation of New Branch causes Source Integrity to create a
branch off of the revision you are locking.
In the Web interface only, select an option from the drop down
list:
Select Yes create a new branch.
Select No to not create a new branch.
Select Confirm to be asked for confirmation of the action to
be taken.
Create Branch if Variant causes Source Integrity to create a branch
off of the revision you are locking, if you are working in a variant
sandbox. This option is available only through the graphical user
interface and command line interface.
To apply the lock with the selected options, click OK. To apply locks to
multiple files, click OK to All.
A padlock symbol appears next to the revision number, and your user
name and the date/time you locked the revision display in the Locked
column.
Depending on your view preferences (see “View Preferences” on
page 59), additional lock information may be available in columns,
such as Lock Timestamp, Locker Development Path, Locker Sandbox,
Locker Project, Locker, or Locker Host.
If the locked member is selected in Sandbox or Project window,
information about the lock is displayed in the Member Information
