3 Configure the following options as necessary:<br />

Performing Member Operations<br />

Change Package options appear only if change packages are<br />

enabled. Select a change package from the Change Package drop<br />

down list, or click Create to create a new change package.<br />

Force Creation of New Branch causes Source Integrity to create a<br />

branch off of the revision you are locking.<br />

In the Web interface only, select an option from the drop down<br />

list:<br />

Select Yes create a new branch.<br />

Select No to not create a new branch.<br />

Select Confirm to be asked for confirmation of the action to<br />

be taken.<br />

Create Branch if Variant causes Source Integrity to create a branch<br />

off of the revision you are locking, if you are working in a variant<br />

sandbox. This option is available only through the graphical user<br />

interface and command line interface.<br />

To apply the lock with the selected options, click OK. To apply locks to<br />

multiple files, click OK to All.<br />

A padlock symbol appears next to the revision number, and your user<br />

name and the date/time you locked the revision display in the Locked<br />

column.<br />

Depending on your view preferences (see “View Preferences” on<br />

page 59), additional lock information may be available in columns,<br />

such as Lock Timestamp, Locker Development Path, Locker Sandbox,<br />

Locker Project, Locker, or Locker Host.<br />

If the locked member is selected in Sandbox or Project window,<br />

information about the lock is displayed in the Member Information<br />
