Resolving Merges<br />

Manually allows you to complete the merge operation through the<br />

<strong>MKS</strong> Visual Merge tool. The <strong>MKS</strong> Visual Merge tool appears in a<br />

new window displaying the revisions you want to merge. In <strong>MKS</strong><br />

Visual Merge perform merging and editing as required. Complete<br />

steps 4 through 7.<br />

For information on using the <strong>MKS</strong> Visual Merge tool, see “<strong>MKS</strong> Visual<br />

Merge Interface” on page 101, and “Working With <strong>MKS</strong> Visual<br />

Merge” on page 330.<br />

4 In the <strong>MKS</strong> Visual Merge window, click File > Save As.<br />

The Save merge result dialog box appears.<br />

5 Enter the file name you want to save your merge result as. By default,<br />

Source Integrity selects the file name corresponding to the Merge To<br />

revision.<br />

6 Click Save to merge the revisions.<br />

The revisions are merged.<br />

7 To close <strong>MKS</strong> Visual Merge, click Close.<br />

In your Sandbox window, a delta appears indicating that the merge is<br />

complete.<br />
